Marcus arrives before sunrise. The first pot of broth begins at 5:45AM. By the time the door opens at 11:30, the master stock has reduced for six hours.
We restored the shophouse in 2019. We did not modernise it. The terrazzo, the teak, and the brass lamp are exactly as Tan Senior left them in 1972.


Two services daily. Twelve tables turn twice. Tan Senior closed the kitchen at 8:30PM sharp. We still do.
